INTRO MAGAZINE has done it again! INTRO MAGAZINE has been nominated again for "Best Magazine" at the 3rd annual Ohio Hip Hop Awards. This year the award ceremony will take place at the Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio on September 20th. This year the event will feature such artists as Ray Lavender, Ray Cash, and SIR. Despite a lot of completion this year INTRO MAGAZINE has made the nomination list again. Nominations for the Ohio Hip Hop Awards are chosen by people going to the website www.ohiohiphopawards.com and submitting their choice for each category. The top five nominees with the most votes are then placed on the ballot for final voting. Voting ends on September 1st.
This year has been a big year for INTRO since the company decided to "Go Green". The once printed publication is now an E-magazine. The E-magazine has allowed the company to reach more readers than their printed version. Unlike other online magazines INTRO is in an actual magazine format. The pages turn as if you are actually reading a magazine by clicking on the pages. "We looked long and hard for a company that could not only offer us but our readers as well a unique experience when reading the magazine" states CEO Aviana Easter. Readers have a choice between three sizes to view the publication do that they can enjoy a better reading experience. Readers also have the option of emailing and printing the publication. The most unique option that INTRO not only offers its readers but advertisers as well is the ability to take an issue from the INTRO website and place it on their Myspace, Facebook, and/or regular website. This function has allowed INTRO MAGAZINE to achieve over 850,000 document views in less than three months.
