September 9th marks the release of Hustle Simmons’ debut album on Break Bread Projects/ Traffic Entertainment Group.
Miami, FL US – July 31, 2008 – The new South Jersey/Philly duo known as Hustle Simmons has announced the official release of their debut album, Dave Ghetto and The S Ence are Hustle Simmons, scheduled for September 9th on Break Bread Projects. Distributed by Traffic Entertainment Group, the album is a 14-track soundscape where the pair revisits golden-era Hip-Hop with a blend of new school style. Dave Ghetto’s gritty lyricism and polished delivery is accompanied perfectly by The S Ence’s smooth melodies over drum-heavy samples, creating an authentic sound that has buzzed over the internet for months, notable on their leading single, "Over And Out" featuring Buff1 and DJ Cru Cut. The album contains additional vocal appearances from Al Mighty, Richie Rasheen, and labelmate Fel Sweetenburg. Select online retailers are currently carrying an advanced, 11-track version of the album.
"The album is dedicated to the struggle and lively hood of adults, their realities and the tour de force being an emcee. Hustle Simmons surfaces real life issues without hesitation…hip-hop’s revolution is here." – Scheme Magazine
The crew has already been honored on URB’s prestigious Next 1000, as well as online compliments from Scheme Magazine, ArtofRhyme.com, Philebrity, HipHop-Elements.com, and an upcoming interview on Spain’s largest urban publication, Hip Hop Nation. Preparations for their upcoming fall tour with Break Bread Projects artists 84 and Fel Sweetenburg are well under way, with confirmed stops in major markets across the country.
"The hustle is doing what it takes to achieve your desired goal. The desired goal for Hustle Simmons is to be heard." – Dave Ghetto
