BLASTRO TO PROVIDE VERIZON FiOS TV SUBSCRIBERS WITH MUSIC CONTENT THROUGH NEW HD VIDEO-ON-DEMAND CHANNEL
Blastro and Verizon's FiOS TV Launch "Blastro Music" Channel
New York (April 15, 2008)—Blastro Networks (www.blastro.com) will provide Verizon FiOS TV subscribers unique and innovative music content with the new "Blastro Music" channel. "Blastro Music" will be made available as part of Verizon's video-on-demand (VOD) platform in HD. The channel currently consists of two subcategories—Roxwel (Rock, Metal, Indie, Alternative) and Yallwire (Country, Bluegrass , Christian)—and will eventually include a third, Blastro (Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B, Latin), all providing viewers with exclusive live performances, interviews and original shows.

FiOS TV is currently available in parts of the following states: California , Delaware , Florida , Indiana , Maryland , Massachusetts , New Jersey , New York , Oregon , Pennsylvania , Rhode Island , Virginia and Texas .
Verizon's industry-leading VOD service offers more than 10,000 titles each month, 70 percent of which are free. The titles encompass a broad range of interests, including kids, music, pop culture, Spanish language, and home and leisure. FiOS TV customers have seen recent VOD content additions from the Smithsonian Channel, Ovation TV, The Horror Channel, Players Network and others.
