Brooklyn, NY - The Room Service Group congratulates our friend and colleague Alma Geddy- Romero as she moves on to new professional challenges. Alma has worked with RSG for five years, starting as intern and ending as a Director of Media Properties. While we will certainly miss her and we wish her the best of luck in her new position. Thankfully Alma will be staying on with Brooklyn Bodega and The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. While the role of Executive Director will be taken over by Festival Chair Wes Jackson, Alma will stay on as one of the Directors of the Festival.
Ebonie Jackson is also officially joining the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival executive staff. Ebonie will also serve as a Director, focusing on production, finance and compliance. A Columbia University MBA with over ten years of corporate experience Ebonie brings a level of professionalism to the Festival that will ensure high production vale and fiscal performance. Ebonie also serves as General Manager of The Room Service Group and previously was the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival production coordinator. Ebonie can be reached at ebonie@brooklynbodega.com.
We are also pleased to announce the addition of two new faces to the RSG team. Kevin Sakoda will be working with the sales and business development department. "I have known Kevin for over 10 years and have worked with him from radio to Warner Bros to Music Nation. He is a top notch guy and we are thrilled to have him on our side," writes RSG president Wes Jackson. Kevin will be bringing his wealth of experience and contacts to The Room Service Group. Robert Knowles recently joined the Room Service as New Media Marketing Manager. Rob has been an intern with RSG and we are pleased to bring him on officially.
