Las Vegas,NV— February 13, 2008— Ideal Talent has signed on as Title Sponsor for World Boxing Champion Winky Wright’s big post –fight party in Vegas February 16th at Studio 54 inside the MGM Grand; with performances by Hip-Hop phenom Common, and pop rock all-stars Radio Reset. Boxing fans, and music fans alike will experience a moment in history with boxing sensation “Winky” Wright, hip-hop sensation Common, and a special performance by Radio Reset immediately following the match between Kelly Pavlik and Jermaine Taylor. The super Saturday night event will be co-hosted by Grammy winning hip-hop artist and actor Common and world champion boxer “Winky” Wright, with a special performance by Radio Reset.
About Winky Wright
At the age of 36, Winky is a 17-year pro. A two-time world champion at 154 pounds, he held the WBO world title from May, 1996, to August, 1998. He won the IBF world title in October, 2001, and has made five successful title defenses, two of the last four against No. 1 contenders. Wright became the division’s first undisputed world champion in 29 years and the first-ever to hold all three major world titles – the WBC / WBA / IBF championships. After 14 years, Wright is now a consensus member of the elite "Pound-for-Pound Champions" top-five and the owner of Pound for Pound Records amongst other companies.
About Common
Common debuted in 1992 with the album Can I Borrow A Dollar?, and maintained a significant underground following into the late 90s, after which he gained notable mainstream success through his work with the Soulquarians. 2005′s Be, which was nominated in the 2006 Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. His best of album "This Is Me Now" is released on the 4th February 2008. Common recently started a burgeoning film career, starting with a role in action thriller, Smokin’ Aces, followed by a part in American Gangster.Common was nominated for three Grammys including Best Rap Solo Performance, Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group and Best Rap Album for he was the winner of the best rap duo award at the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
About Radio Reset
Radio Reset formed in 2006 in Clearwater, FL. Band members include Andrew Arthur, Andy Pardue, Mark Allen, and Johnny Coryn. In 2006 Radio Reset took first place in the Southeast region of the US Global Battle of The bands, and competed in the National finals at the esteemed Key Club in Los Angeles. They have continued to perform to both small and large audiences at select dates in the Tampa/Clearwater area as well as other venues across the United States that includes “House of Blues” in Las Vegas and “The Wheeler Opera House” in Aspen, Colorado.
