Series premiere on MTV2 tomorrow (1/20) at 2:00pm after Sucker Free Countdown
Hood Fab, the first hip hop trivia game show on television is hosted by hip hop radio personality Buttahman. Buttah originally conceived Hood Fab from a game he played on his radio show "Rap Attack" in Baltimore. Buttah’s producing partner is Kurt Williamson of Grey Bros. Ent.
Hood Fab enables MTV2 viewers to become virtual contestants by texting FAB to 66333 or at hoodfab.mtv.com, after seeing a crawl at the bottom of their screen. Five trivia questions appear for players to answer and each correct answer counts as an individual entry into the show’s prize pool. Buttah says, "The best thing about the show is watching rappers be put to the test on their knowledge of the genre."
The show features surprise appearances by Kayne West, Snoop, Keisha Cole, 50 Cent, Eve, Too Short, David Banner and Common. For details, including contestant rules and regulations, visit hoodfab.mtv.com.
The next season of Hood Fab begins taping new episodes in Miami on 1/24.
