With backing from DJ Khaled, DJ Vlad, Nu Jerzey Devil, and DJ Enuff, Carlito’s Way is slated to storm the industry this March 2008. The EP features collaborations with multi-platinum rapper/producer Paul Wall, and other top-notch producers including Omega Beats, and Apex productions. The current single, "Life Of Crimez" featuring Shy, has been blazing streets and radio stations across the East Coast, and it continues to capture the interests of today’s most influential A&R’s since the release of the video. Best known for last year’s street anthem "Get This Money" which was featured on DJ Green Lantern’s Myspace Monster Mash Mix CD, Silk Cities own Carlito is finally serving the industry with his long-anticipated EP, Carlito’s Way.
Carlito has been featured on DJ Vlad’s popular Rock Star DVD series and on several mixtapes including his debut mixtape, This Aint a Movie Vol.1 hosted by DJ 007. The mixtape independently sold over 7,000 units within weeks and proved that this Silk City native isn’t set to settle. His new music can also be heard on the up-and-coming fifth season of MTV’s and Diddy’s popular reality TV series, Making the Band which is scheduled to air in 2008.
