Phoenix, AZ—January 21, 2008 Triumphant Home Entertainment delivers a comedy show like no other, that will truly have you Cut’N It Up. January 25, 2008 The Celebrity Theater will house some of the hottest names in comedy for a live filming of the Cut’N It Up Series of comedy shows. Triumphant Home Entertainment has mixed the best of BET’s Comic View, Last Comic Standing, and Def Comedy Jam, presenting a unique and pleasant blend of comedy to be released on a nationally distributed DVD. "This series isn’t for sissies as the most raw, hilarious, comedians are featured in different cities throughout North America delivering T some of the bluest comedy you’ve ever heard! ", said CEO of Triumphant Pictures Cecil Chambers. The first of the 12 part series was shot in Chicago, hosted by mega star Alex Thomas featuring Lil Rel, impressionist Reggie Reg, Marcys Combs, Pierre and other distinguished comedians, The series has travelled to Chicago and Dallas, while Phoenix, sets the tone for third city on the tour. The Phoenix show will feature acclaimed funny man TK Kirkland as co-host; with local radio sensation Jx3. Featured comedians include Aries Spears, JB Smoove and Juan Villareal. Attendees will not only be blessed with the comical stylings of Villareal, Smoove, and Spears, but will also be entertained with a performance by Chingo Bling, Latin rap sensation.
Aries Spears, from a regular on Fox’s Mad TV, to starring in feature films, appearing on a number of national talk shows, and continually touring the country with his stand-up, Aries’s talents are becoming recognized and appreciated throughout the entertainment industry.
JB Smoove has started on national television shows Everybody Hates Chris, Curb your Enthusiasm, and Saturday Night Live; he is one of the most talented, animated and hilarious comedian’s to-date.
Juan Villareal, has more than ten years experience to the table, his credits include BET Comic View with more than nine seasons as well as HBO Loco Slam, and a stint with Cedric the Entertainer.
One lucky fan will also receive a two night-three day vacation to Jamaica for the July 19, 2008 taping of Cut’n It Up. Everyone is automatically entered with purchase of a ticket to the show and the winner will be announced during the intermission.
