Initiative Coincides With New Album Which Hit Stores on December 4th
Dec.14th, 2007 In support of his album Big Doe Rehab released on December 4th, Ghostface has launched the Big Doe Rehab Blog exclusively on SOHH.com, the largest and longest running urban/hip-hop community with over 4.5 million visitors monthly. Running for the next two weeks, fans can log onto http://www.blogs.sohh.com/gueststar to read comments from Ghostface regarding his new album, fascination with Wallabees, the new Ironman movie, his lyrical inspiration, the new Wu Tang album, and his crazy new mobile campaign.
The exclusive blog is a collaborative effort between Brooklyn Bodega, Def Jam, and SOHH.com. The staff at Brooklyn Bodega worked with Ghostface to piece together his commentary as he traveled across the country on the Hip-Hop Live Tour with Rakim.
"Ghostface is without a doubt the most creative force in the game. Even before he headlined the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival this year we were huge fans. The opportunity to work with Ghost and a great site like SOHH is fantastic," writes Jake Perry, Editorial Director at Brooklyn Bodega.
The blog is part of Ghostface's Big Doe Takeover of Brooklyn Bodega. Ghostface's newest release will be the featured content on the acclaimed blog/online affinity group. The takeover features tour reviews, video links, and the Rehab Journal by Ghost and Bodega personality Spaulding Forsythe. For more info visit http://www.brooklynbodega.com/takeover_ghostface.htm
SOHH.com has launched individual artist blogs as a way of giving the artist a chance to interact with their community in an intimate way. With the success of Hurricane Chris and other artists, the site looks to feature noteworthy artists within the urban community, such as Tony Starks, to give their audience the exclusive content they are looking for. Felicia Palmer, CEO and co-founder of SOHH.com, says, "SOHH.com fans love Ghostface and the whole Wu Tang Clan family so we are ecstatic to work on this collaborative effort with him while continuing to give our audience the latest in urban music entertainment."
