ATLANTA, GA – On Thursday, December 6, 2007, Hip Hop’s legendary producer, MC and DJ, Diamond D brings LOWDOWN DIRTY POPCORN to Atlanta’s newest nightlife venue Sabor, 150 Walton Street (Across from Centennial Olympic Park).
LOW DOWN DIRTY POPCORN is the perfect after work set to mingle and hear classic soul, hip hop, obscure breaks and rare grooves. Come early and enjoy delicious Asian infused Latin- Caribbean cuisine along with a 7 O’clock Happy Hour that features BOGO martinis, cocktails, and bottles of wine!
Diamond D, a native of the hip-hop capital of the world, The Bronx, NY, gained notoriety as a top rate DJ that came with "some extraordinary music." His arsenal of works includes classic hip-hop albums such as "Stunts Blunts & Hip" and "Hatred Passions & Infidelity". Some of the artists that Diamond D has created music for include A Tribe Called Quest (Low End Theory), Fugees (The Score), Outkast (SouthernPlayalisticCadillacmuzik), Mos Def (Black On Both Sides) as well as Busta Rhymes, Brand Nubian, Joi, The Pharcyde, Tha Alkaholiks, Too Short, Natalie Cole and more!
