Thousands of Inner-City Families: ‘We’re Going!’

Ringling Bros., Community Leaders Host Unprecedented ‘Family Night Out’ at Circus

  WHO:     Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White,

           Chicago Alderpersons Lona Lane, Toni Foulkes and Emma Mitts,

           Hip hop sensation Teefa,

           dozens of other community leaders and local celebrities,

           and thousands of underserved children and families …

  WHAT:    joining together in an unprecedented "Family Night Out" at
           Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey(R) circus.

           This special evening, dedicated to shared family experiences as a
           positive alternative to violence, is the culmination of a
           partnership between Ringling Bros. and local leaders to donate
           and distribute 10,000 circus tickets to children and families
           that would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience The
           Greatest Show On Earth(R).

  WHERE:   Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007

           United Center, 1901 W. Madison, Chicago

           5:30 – 6:00 p.m. — PHOTO OP — First buses of children arrive at
           Gate 6, are greeted by Sec. White, alderpersons, Teefa and
           others, and given foam replicas of comic daredevil Bello’s tall
           orange hair-do to wear.  Then, the children and dignitaries go
           together to the arena floor to mingle with circus performers and
           try their hands at interactive circus skills.

           6:00 – 6:45 p.m. — All-Access Pre-Show

           6:55 p.m. — Welcoming Remarks

           7:00 p.m. — Downtown Opening of All-New Bellobration(SM) Edition
           of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey
