Dominating the female unsigned rap arena in creating real music and most importantly being able to hold her own along side if not on top of some male rappers, Hedonis Da Amazon brings attention to yet another classic with her newest Myspace release "Dumb." The track is based with the sample of Run DMC's 1986 "Dumb Girl." Bringing a grown sound to an old school track with lyrics that only a female can pull off but can crush male opponents 'like a jelly bean,' Hedonis shows polished lyrics and creativity that is longed for in Hip Hop today. With female rappers "catching cases," or a constant "push back" of their albums, it would seem that popular female rappers are soon to become exctent. When they do come out, one single may be hot and then the album is garbage (with the exception of Lil' Kim's 1st and last album and Foxy Browns total discography). Myspace has opened up a new way of finding those unpublicized female rappers that are polished and can deliver. "Dumb" should get the attention of old schoolers, lip-glossers and flossers.
