Chicago’s Mix Tape Royalty is dropping another hit.
Chicago (October XX, 2007) The mix tape legend is dropping yet another hot compilation CD next month. King "the hood savior" Collier, is coming back out with his fourth compilation CD "the Pass Out". The first single dropping from the compilation is " I work hard" which has already gotten a buzz in the streets. Slated to drop on November 20, 2007, King "the hood savior is reintroducing himself to the entertainment community as well as Chicago. With the help of his label, King is taking it to the streets to personally Pass Out.
"During the time of recording ‘Pass Out’ I endured several tragedies including being shot. This awakening opted me to become more in-tuned with the community," stated King. Beating the odds, King has continued to focus on his CD and turn his misfortune in to a prize. The up and coming rap royalty, has turned his image around, from being in the hood to saving the hood one block at a time. " We would like others to take what King has been through and use it as a blueprint to change their way of life. With so much violence in the community it is time to make some changes and this is one of the layers within this compilation." said Tellie, CEO of First String Entertainment. Working with the likes of Chicago’s hottest producers such as Mush Millions, Soundman and Lo Key. Also, bringing to the league veteran rappers like Shorty K and rookies such as KeKe the Female Take over.
This compilation will be the layout for everybody who ever had to hustle, to struggle, and beat the odds. Focused on making a name for himself; the Pass Out will be the key for King’s new sound, new image, new lease on life.
