‘Zilla’s World’, hosted by Bedtyme357 (Remy Ma’s DJ), which is set for release on November 19th 2007 (his born day) ,is a thorough representation of Drawzilla’s original production in collaboration with artists he feels best encompasses his vision as a producer while projecting his ability to create timeless music for all urban genres.
Stocked with some of todays most grind worthy artists such as Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli, Grafh and Prinz of Blackhand, Capone from CNN, CL Smooth, Lexx9eleven, Sic Osyrus as well as R&B artists such as Lydia Ceasar and Kari Bell (whom is included on the mixtape in a bonus cut tribute to the late great Aaliyah) ‘Zilla’s World’ will definitely provide a pleasurable listening experience to all music lovers alike.
The first single launched off ‘Zilla’s World’ is called ‘A Promise is a Promise’ by Inasirkl’s newest artist Priscillya Marie (attached), which is a clever yet aggressive interpolation of CNN’s mid 90′s street anthem ‘Bloody Money’ . Additional songs off of ‘Zilla’s World’ will be released to DJ’s upon request.
‘Zilla’s World’ will be available at various downloadable mixtape sites such as datpiff.com or you can grab a copy of ‘Zilla’s World’ at NYC hot spot Remote Lounge (327 Bowery Street) on Nov 21st at the official release party.
Drawzilla has also acquired a blanket license from Viacom and has placed tracks on over 95 variety shows (in last 3 years) on VH1, MTV, BET shows such a Runs House, TRL, 50 Cent’s House Party as well as soundtrack scoring for independent films such as ‘Coalition’ starring Raekwon (Wu Tang).
