New York, NY-10/11/2007(Entertainment Wire)-Former Cash Money Millionaire,Gillie Da Kid leaves his normal acting job starring as a beef rapper, in his self published Youtube videos and street DVD’s, to star in the Shurwil Langston film "EX$PENDABLE. Gillie was cast as a security guard that gets involved in a bloody shoot out against a Dominican gang in a Warehouse. The film also stars Gary Sturgis ( Daddy’s Little Girl) , Taral Hicks ( Soul Food), Thulisio Dingwall ( HBO’s "THE WIRE"), William L. Johnson ( Crossover), Sundy Carter ( Bringing Down the House), The African King of Comedy, Michael Blackson and Omillio Sparks. Sparks who is best known for his role as "Baby Boy" in the Lionsgate Films State Property 1 & 2, takes on another gangster role as Raphael, a savvy street hustler, that’s on the verge of exploiting an underground ring of informants that are run by the Philadelphia Police Department. Langston says the EX$PENDABLE Soundtrack will feature Gillie’s recent street track "Get Down on the Ground" & Sparks second single " 4 The Love or Money". The Philly pair have both reported that the music on their upcoming LP’s are in fact inspired by the movie "EX$PENDABLE". Production began October 1st and is anticipated to end in late November.
