A joint venture with 3 Phat Girls, Ghetto Dreams Entertainment, and Southern Majesty are hosting a Stop The Gang Violence Rally. Although violence occurs for several reasons, which remain unimportant, as a community we need to take steps to bring us together. The Big Phat Block Party is a stepping stone to bringing all sides of Houston together to resolve social conflicts; yet, still have fun and entertainment.
This rally is also in support of Mesah Hawkins in memory of her late husband John "Big Hawk" Hawkins and his brother Patrick "Fat Pat" Hawkins. Unfortunately Hawk had an untimely death from gunfire. Donations will be accepted for the Hawkins family, his wife and two children. We commend his wife Mesah as she is the backbone of Ghetto Dreams Entertainment as she is keeps the dream alive.
There will be performances from several artist such as K-Rino, PKT, Troublesum, Raw’LT, DJ Shawney, DJ E Slim just to name a few. Some sponsors include Pary 104.9, Urban Zone, TVT Records, Top Notch Promotions, Da Block Ent, and several more. We commend everybody that is taking part in this special event.
