Humboldt County California’s Potluck has been confirmed for the upcoming Tech N9ne tour. The group is currently supporting their Suburban Noize debut, "Straight Outta Humboldt," which features guest appearances from Tech N9ne, Kottonmouth Kings, Chali 2NA of Jurassic 5, E-40 and The Luniz. Potluck is fresh off of a string of headlining dates that saw them pack clubs throughout the Midwest.
"It was wonderful to go out and do some headlining shows for the first time in the Midwest. Our movement and our message just keeps getting bigger. Our own headlining shows was a necessary next step," says James ’1 Ton’ Kerri of Potluck. "It was good news on top of more good news when we came home to find out Tech N9ne wanted us to go out on tour with him. He was the first artist to bring us out on a national tour and he is one of our closest friends in the biz. It will be great for Potluck, Tech N9ne, and All the Fans. Hope to see everyone there."
Potluck is riding high on the success of their new album "Straight Outta Humboldt". Ballerstatus.net called Potluck "a fun loving group that epitomizes what hip-hop should be about," while PopMatters proclaimed "Straight Outta Humboldt, is loaded with gargantuan West Coast O.G. funk, sped-up samples, seriously catchy hooks." Potluck’s mixture of
syrupy West Coast beats and heartfelt lyrics have made the group an independent juggernaut that is racking up big sales and an even bigger fanbase.
Tech N9ne is breaking through to the mainstream in a big way. Tech N9ne’s most recent studio album, "Everready (The Religion)", has passed the 100,000 unit sales mark, despite a precipitous drop in sales for most artists. Tech also recently released his first collaborative album, "Tech N9ne Collabos Misery Loves Kompany", which features Yukmouth, Big Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Skatterman, Snug Brim, Prozak, Big Scoob, T-Nutty, Dalima and others.

"Working with Tech is always a great experience. Tech is hands down one of the best rappers out there right now and actually is my favorite rapper alive," says Underrated.
