NEW YORK, Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Inspired by the new Kenneth Cole Reaction Fragrance ad campaign, Kenneth Cole Fragrances hosted a cabana at the Venetian Hotel's Tao Beach during the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards asking celebrities their "Reactions" to the fragrance and current buzz in the entertainment industry.
For three days in Las Vegas, Friday, September 7 through Sunday, September 9th, Tao Beach was the celebrity hotspot with Linkin Park, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, LA Reid, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri playing host during the daytime and evening parties. Kenneth Cole Reaction unveiled the new advertising campaign featuring Alexandra Richards (stunning daughter of Rolling Stone Keith Richards). Celebrities and tastemakers were gifted at the cabana with all of the latest Kenneth Cole fragrances.
For each "Reaction" given from the playful and provocative questions asked, a charitable donation will be made to the Kenneth Cole Awearness fund, benefiting amfAR and HELP USA.
When asked, "What is your reaction to the Kenneth Cole Reaction Fragrance, Hip-Hop Star Nelly responded, "It's real light. It doesn't come off too strong. I like it. It's real mellow. That's my type of thing. I'm hoping to get a reaction from the ladies when I wear it". Pop Star Ashanti exclaimed "Ooh that smells good!" Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous host, and Las Vegas resident, Robin Leach's reaction to the Kenneth Cole fragrance was," You know Kenneth Cole has had his fine hand in that. He's a good guy because he preaches a message in his advertising. His ads make the customers think about how they're living their life." Comedian/entertainer Wayne Brady felt "empowered; really, really manly."
When asked her reaction to Hollywood party girls like Britney Spears, Reality TV star Shar Jackson told us "It's ok to stay in the house. I stay in the house. Just chill out, go home, read a book, play x-box. You don't gotta be out all the time. I know you want to be young and want to enjoy life and stay out all the time, but do it on the weekends.
