The Official Album Back To The TrapHouse Set To Drop November 13, 2007
NEW YORK, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to Big Cat Record's press release announcing they are releasing unauthorized Gucci Mane music, Gucci Mane issues the following statement:
"It has come to my attention that my former record label, Big Cat, is trying to put out an unauthorized release of my music. Not only was this done with out my approval, but the music they are trying to release is unfinished and does not represent who I am today as an artist. I ask my fans not to support this release and instead wait for the official Gucci Mane, Back To The TrapHouse album coming out on my label So Icey Entertainment/Czar/ Asylum/Atlantic Records on November 13th, and if anyone needs to book me for a show or get in contact with me they should only call the So Icey offices."
First single, a reworked past favorite, the club bouncer "Freaky Gurl," is currently #33 and rising on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and the Daymond John & Dr. Teeth directed video is gaining major spins on BET and MTV. Back To The TrapHouse guest spots include Rich Boy and Pimp C of UGK, and Shawnna formerly of DTP and newly signed to So Icey Entertainment.
Gucci Mane is confident that this latest release will place all eyes firmly on his music, putting the controversy that seems to follow the rapper behind him.
With Back To the TrapHouse, Gucci Mane is indeed proving his swagger and taking it straight for the top.
