Cleveland , Ohio , Sept. 7 /PRNewswire -- On Saturday, September 22, 2007, thousands of hip hop hopefuls, Cleveland's music industry elite, media and fans will travel to downtown Cleveland 's Galleria to attend "The Ohio Hip-Hop Awards". Commemorating another successful year the 2nd annual award show features Ohio's best.
The underground's favorite and most notable rising Hip-Hop artists is Kenny Ali, who is nominated in the Best Album Category. The Midwest native is widely known as a triple threat for crafting heat scorching beats, being a phenomenal lyricist and in-demand engineer. Although, he has yet to mount his own tour Ali has been the opening act for several household name rappers such as Lil Scrappy, Lil Jon, Pitbull and G-Unit. Now will the release of his debut album Def B4 Dishonor, which not only yielded him a nomination, but several major labels are showing interest and he is being hailed as a hometown hero for his creative music.
