West produced numerous songs for many artists such as Janet
Jackson, Britney Spears, Jay-Z, DMX, Alicia Keys, Common, and Mos

Donda West is Kanye’s mom and extremely accomplished in her own
right. She previously served as the Chair of the English
Department at Chicago State University and is now the Chief

To ensure they are able to meet as many customers as possible,
Kanye and Donda West will be unable to personalize their
signatures. No posed photographs may be taken during the book
signing. One CD per customer will be signed with a copy of the
book. Copies of "Raising Kanye: Life Lessons from the Mother of a
Hip-Hop Superstar" are available for purchase at Borders.
Beginning August 25 at 8 a.m. wristbands will be given out to
customers who would like to get copies of "Raising Kanye: Life
Lessons from the Mother of a Hip-Hop Superstar" signed. These
wristbands will be given out on a first come, first serve basis
and will hold each person’s place in line. Line wristbands will
be color coded and the line will be organized by colors.
Announcements will be made when we begin to line up each group.
Borders cannot guarantee that all customers with line wristbands
will have the opportunity to meet Kanye and Donda West and obtain
an autograph.
To receive a wristband, customers must present a copy of Kanye
and Donda West’s "Raising Kanye: Life Lessons from the Mother of
a Hip-Hop Superstar" with proof of purchase to the store on the
day of the event.
