Baby Drew: New Album Out 09.11.07

Milwaukee-based rapper Baby Drew is gearing up for the release of his third album, "Free," which is set to drop September 11th via U Digg Records and OarFin Distribution. The disc features appearances from Pimp C (of UGK), Chamillionaire, Bun B, Mario, Young Stally, and Playboy D, among others. "Hogz In Tha House," a song that shows Baby Drew’s dedication to the street, is projected to be the record’s first single.

With "Free," Baby Drew has made his return, and this time it’s with a vengeance. Though the rapper’s style and intense tone remain the same as that exemplified on his previous releases, he has lyrically reached a whole new level. Calling himself a “street representative,” Drew attributes his new lyrics to living on and watching the street.

As someone with a distinctive voice, Baby Drew hopes to reach a broader, more universal audience with his music. Both his debut and sophomore effort were successful locally, but Drew is now poised for nationwide recognition.
