School Tyme Hip-Hop Productions (STHHP), an emerging music production company. Specializing in getting children K-8 excited about education through the art of Hip-Hop. Started by South Central Los Angeles natives, Mengesha "Mystro" Francis, president & producer, and Domanic Allen, vice president.
STHHP is gearing up for the release of it’s first maxi-single. Currently in the studio completing pre-production, the single titled “9105 South Alphabet Boulevard” is tentatively slated for release in October of 2007. The project, comprised of STHHP artist and exclusively produced by Mystro, has been an eagerly anticipated release. They are working out of Upper Hand Studios, located within a complex owned by Jackie Jackson of the noted Jackson 5.
Building positive buzz about their project and company in light of the focus being put on the lyrical content of current rap. Bringing the focus back onto the creative roots of Hip-Hop. Supervisor, Second(2nd) District, Yvonne Braithwaite Burke states, “The concept sounds interesting and innovative….. keep me informed”. STHHP, is also recently featured in the entertainment section of the La Sentinel, published April 26th, 2007 by Brandon I Brooks, Assistant Editor.
Capturing the attention of listeners by using strong baselines, hard 808’s and original melodies to entertain as well as educate. Be on the look out for the single and their school tour starting within the Los Angeles Unified School District.
