For the next in hip hop, one message board is an open house
BALTIMORE – Up and coming musicians, usually with a small budget, are always looking for ways to promote their work. Look no further. Mytravelhood.com is coming soon. Yes, a travel website wants to promote artists.
Based in Baltimore, the website will serve to bring all urban travelers together to share experiences with vacation spots, hotel rooms, event promoters and anything else relating to urban getaways. With over 1 million urban travelers going to Cancun, Miami, Myrtle Beach, S. C. for Memorial Weekend, and New Orleans for the Essence Music Fest, as well as other locations and events throughout the year, mytravelhood.com will be the social network for at least 5% of these event goers. So, the website will serve as the perfect opportunity for anyone in the hip hop industry to star plugging away.
While the site is still under construction the message board, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mytravelhood/ gladly welcomes, hip hop artists, aspiring models and young start ups to join and post for free. Once the site is launched, mytravelhood.com will offer free promotion for one month.
