Metro Muzik presents The Dallas Music Scene Exposed IV Seminar & Showcase on March 25th

Event will also include CD release party featuring Tulsa’s Dangerous Rob.

March 12th, 2007 (Dallas, Texas) – On March 25th at Club Tom Cats in Dallas, Metro Muzik: The Union presents our 4th Dallas Music Scene Exposed Seminar & Showcase. Broadcasted via the internet on RenegadeRadio.net, this event will once again present establish music industry professionals giving advice and insight to aspiring artists.

Starting at 5pm, we’re having two local Hip-Hop Television Shows (Texas Inc. & N Da Streetz) in attendance to interview local Hip-Hop and R&B Artists. We’ll also have E-Class, D-Lyte & Kitti J from KBFB-FM 97.9 The Beat on the panel to discuss radio. Heard Weekends from 9 am to noon, these three emerging personalities will be on hand giving insight and advice as well as field questions.

After the seminar portion of The Dallas Music Scene Exposed IV has ended, we’ll move on to our artist showcase featuring hot performances from the best independent Hip-Hop and R&B artists in the metroplex. The showcase will be headlined by Tulsa, Oklahoma’s own Dangerous Rob.

Also known as D-Rob with over 20,000 records sold independently in the U S and overseas, Dangerous Rob is a member of the legendary Dogg Pound with the endorsement of Daz Dillinger and Kurupt. According to Daz Dillinger’s publicist Shemia Miller, the backing from Daz & Kurupt shows “how good [Dangerous Rob’s] work is.”

David Basteri with Infinity Press in Tulsa, Oklahoma stated Dangerous Rob brings street credibility to his music, a mixture of old school sensitivity and style coupled with cleverly addictive grooves that create songs with incredible meaning and depth. The experience he has absorbed touring and performing with esteemed rap luminaries like Too Short, Dr. Dre, LL Cool J and EPMD to name a few, has help make Dangerous Rob the premier artist in Oklahoma, “providing a sensitive and clever approach to the urban street voice.”

Dangerous Rob’s portion of the showcase will also serve as a CD Release Party for his latest LP, Itz A Dangerous World, due out April 3rd. His leading single, “Itz A Dangerous World” featuring Coco Jones & Young Hustlaz is burning up the charts.
