Former Vibe and Source magazine editor joins Hip Hop’s largest and longest running web site, SOHH.com
Jersey City, NJ – February 22, 2007: 4CONTROL MEDIA, parent company to SOHH.com, the Internet’s largest and longest running urban/hip-hop community with over 3,000,000 visitors each month, has announced the hiring of Erik Parker as Director of Content. In this role, Parker will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the editorial content of SOHH.com while expanding the reach and breadth of its coverage. Parker most recently served as Music Editor at Vibe Magazine and is creator of The Parker Report.
Erik Parker is a well respected writer who has given his commentary to some of America ’s top media outlets, such as CNN, MSNBC, MTV, VH1, Fox News, The New York Times, The LA Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Parker is a highly sought out journalist renowned for his candor and insight on hip-hop culture. Previous experience for Parker includes tenure at the Source Magazine as Music and Senior Editor.
