HOUSTON, TX, December 18, 2006 – Christmas spirit is alive and holiday cheer is abundant as the Hip Hop Community and local businesses lend a helping hand to families in need this holiday season. At the helm, coordinating all efforts is 7303 Records with their inaugural Christmas Toy Drive.
On Monday December 18, 7303 Records will host a toy drive to benefit underprivileged youth in the Houston area. The toy drive will take place at legendary Studio 7303, owned by Ronnie Bookman, and commence promptly at 11AM. Bookman, who believes that this event and others similar to it are important to the city, relishes in the opportunity to be a help to others. “The Christmas season is about sharing with others and anything I can do to make the season better for just one person, especially a child, is a blessing,” Bookman explains.
News of Ronnie’s proposed efforts spread quickly throughout the city causing a chain reaction of goodwill. Since announcing plans for the 7303 Toy Drive, Bookman has been flooded with calls from entertainers and businesses who want nothing more than to help out. Partnering with 7303 are Mike Jones & Ice Age Entertainment, Mannie Fresh & Chubby Boy Productions, The Urban Zone, Ardoin’s Mobile Detail, On the Level Promotions, Promo Princess Marketing, Elite Records, Mike Dean & Dean’s List Enterprises, and Latium Entertainment just to name a few. Those interested in donating to the cause can drop off a new unwrapped toy at 7303 Ardmore Houston, TX 77581.
