NEW YORK - Tensions between the Roc and Dip Set continue to mount as
"The
Prince of the Roc," Peedi Crakk, inititiates the feud with former
friend
Juelz Santana. Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam artist Peedi Crakk, takes aim with
a
cut-throat new diss track at fellow rapper Juelz Santana entitled
"Number
1." After a recent run-in between the two at the album release party
for
Diddy's Press Play in New York City, these one-time friends are now at
war,
firing shots left and right, and taking no prisoners. With no near end
in
sight, the battle is going to get heated as this track will surely add
fuel
to the fire. "Number 1" received 38,000 downloads in its first 3 hours
on
the web, and after the track debuted on Sirius¹s Shade45 and NY¹s Hot
97
Radio, sent listeners into a frenzy. Callers were heating up the
station¹s
phone lines with their reactions to the track. Santana is going to
have a
hard time retaliating with all the people that have Peedi¹s back.
Peedi also has a new single warming up the cold streets later this
month
titled, "Take Me Home" which features fellow Def Jam artist Meghan
Rochelle.
Keep an eye out for his long-awaited debut, The Prince of The Roc, in
stores
early next year.
