Nashville, TN- Oct 30, 2006 Bang Out Entertainment announces the newest release from FLUID Outrage entitled Soundtrack to Da Grind Vol. 1: 36 Fluid Oz. hosted by Tim "Kamillian" Hill, in stores November 17th.
36 Fluid Oz. is a testament to the rappers name, Fabulous Lifestyle Until I Die with the Outrage of a furiously aggressive flow. He delivers lyrical blows–sudden, blunt, and ruthless– without forgetting the importance of a powerful hook to seduce the listener into his murky world, particularly on the first hot single Get Your Hustle Up. FLUID describes the song as motivation for everyone to step their game up, no matter what you doing, its time to step it up. The second single is Everytime I Come Thru featuring Young Buck. Produced by Fate Eastwood, this track pays respect to Houstons own hero DJ Screw and is sure to be a Dirty South club banger. And, he has one for the ladies with Move Ya Body. FLUID Outrage produced 36 Fluid Oz. himself with the help of guest producers Tim "Kamillian" Hill, Mike G, Dello, KP, Chad West, M. Slade, Mike G., & Killamesia.
At 26, this native of Nashville has been a hip-hop head from day one. Growing up, FLUID listened to NWA, Big Daddy Kane, Tupac, Nas and Jay-Z. The movement of Underground southern rap during the reign of labels like Rap-A-Lot and Suave House were a huge part of FLUIDs development. Back then, southern hip hop was not popular but it was good music. I was influenced by all the souths legends.
BANG OUT ENT
Instead of chasing a deal, FLUID understood that only a select few would get picked up by major labels. Nashville was not exactly the breeding ground for new hip hop talents. Major labels dont come here looking for people to sign, you have to push your own product. Taking that to heart, he began to understand the business side and how important it is to have as much control as possible. He started doing beats, writing to them and engineering his own studio sessions. FLUID then began building a label with cousin and Bang Out Entertainment CEO, Tony Montana Watkins. One of the Nashvilles tastemakers on the independent hip hop scene, Bang Out Entertainment has built a dynasty of trendsetters, raising the bar for local acts.
The multi-talented FLUID Outrage burns the candle at both ends and earned production credits on DJ Dramas Gangsta Grillz cut Welcome to the Trap. The underground mixtape features fellow Nashvillian, Young Buck. With props to Buck for being the first Nashville rapper to reach national acclaim, FLUID says Nashville is home, but Im reppin for the world and hopes that 36 Fluid Oz. will be the next blow out of the city.
