Entertainment Company Continues Expansion Into Management
NEW YORK, NY, Oct 24, 2006: Skeleton Key Entertainment, the mainstream entertainment division of Mega Media Group, Inc. (www.megamediagroup.com) (EduLink, Inc. [MYIQ.PK]) announced today the launch of a full service management division led by industry vets Ric Aliberte and Charles Suitt.
Aliberte, who will oversee primarily pop and rock music clients, brings his existing roster to Skeleton Key. The new division’s clientele include producer/writer Peter Zizzo (who discovered and developed such artists as Avril Lavigne, Vanessa Carlton and Toby Lightman), remixer/musician/producer Ken Lewis (whose credits include John Legend, Kanye West, The Game and Ghostface Killa), producer/engineer Mike Denneen (who has produced such acts as The Click 5 and Fountains of Wayne), and Atlantic recording artists Mercy Fall. Commenting on the announcement, Aliberte stated, “We set out to expand the scope of how a typical entertainment company would operate in order to tap into as many income streams as possible. A viable management division is an important part of achieving that goal.”
Suitt, who will focus primarily on urban talent, brings with him such clients as Pulitzer Prize-winning literary writer Karen Hunter (who has written seven NY Times best sellers), producer/writer Chink Santana (who has produced Ashanti, Lloyd and Keyshia Cole), and celebrity stylists The B. Lynn Group (featured in an upcoming reality television show). “Having a diversified client base that reaches beyond the music business is critical,” noted Suitt. “Our goal is to have a well-balanced company capable of accommodating the varied needs of our clients.”
