Los Angeles, California (September 6, 2006)–Mitchy Slick, one of the West Coast’s hottest Hip Hop artists, is hustling harder than ever after the release of his debut album, Urban Survival Syndrome. The first single off the album, “Bass Chasers,” is currently in radio rotation and receiving rave reviews. The album is set to be released Tuesday, September 12th by Angeles Records in conjunction with Tha WrongKind Records.
The San Diego native is currently on a promotional tour that includes several spot dates across the country.
“I’m enjoying the success of the album so far. Everywhere I go I get mad love from the fans,” says Slick. “At this point I’m consistently working hard to take my career to the next level, while representing the West Coast to the fullest. The work don’t stop and I won’t quit,” he adds.
Mitchy Slick, a member of the infamous Strong Army Steady Crew, will soon return to the studio to work on a new album with fellow members Xzibit, Krondon and Phil Da Agony. They recently inked a deal with Talib Kweli’s label BlackSmith / Warner Bros and will release a debut album in early 2007.
Also, look for Mitchy Slick on several upcoming mixtapes produced by some of the biggest and the best DJ’s in the business. The list includes DJ Muggs, New York’s DJ Kay Slay, and the West Coast’s DJ Skee and DJ Warrior.
Fans can also bring Mitchy Slick into their home with the DVD he and some friends released earlier this year. Strong Arm Robbery Volume II stars Slick and fellow artists Damu and Tiny Doo.
