(OTC: PRMX), parent company of Romen Mpire Records, Inc., an entertainment and music production company, in association with its joint venture partner, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels have contributed to the production of a compilation CD to combat hunger and poverty.
The CD, entitled Serve, contains works by twelve major recording artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, Dido and Lenny Kravitz. Serve will be distributed by Hard Rock Cafes worldwide, and through their online store at www.hardrock.com, with net profits to be donated to World Hunger Year (WHY).
The CD contains the hit single Just Like Me, featuring Sarah McLachlan, from DMC's newly released album, Checks, Thugs, and Rock'n Roll. Just Like Me was inspired by DMC's quest to find his biological parents as documented in the VH1 documentary, DMC: My Adoption Journey. At the age of 35, DMC was told that he was adopted by the only mother he had ever known.
