Additionally, Soul Rebel has partnered with Director Shaka King and Film Editor Kristin Sprague to produce a short film montage to accompany Soul Rebel’s recent song "Lonely". The film montage will feature startling verite documentary footage of street prostitution. The footage will splice together shots taken in New York, NY, Newark, NJ, Miami, FL and Amsterdam. The montage will be edited to follow the lyrics of "Lonely" and will capture the illicit activity of pimping in its raw form. The short film will be available for download in August.
Lastly, continuing there commitment to community service, Soul Rebel is currently in talks with LIFEbeat ( www.lifebeat.org) to perform as a part of the ‘Hearts and Voices Concert Series’. ‘Hearts and Voices’ produces shows on location in Hospitals in New York City for victims of HIV and AIDS.
